“Mask of the Jaguar King”

Creation and Execution of this set was very challenging as the theater itself was small and so was the budget. The design was anchored on how Mayans integrate nature and construction, using their culture to guide the project.  Having in mind the characters need and the atmosphere desired by the director I was able to provide the audience the feeling of entering inside a tropical area in central america as soon as they step in the theater.

A Criação e execução do cenário foi desafiadora pela escassez de verba e estrutura de palco do teatro. A linha guia dessa criação foi a cultura e a maneira de construir da civilização Maia.  Tendo em mente a necessidade cênica e a atmosfera desejada pelo diretor, eu fui capaz de fazer o espectador sentir-se em uma area tropical da América Central assim que adentrasse o teatro.
