"Heerup Museum"

A special exhibition of Gert's work happened at the Heerup Museum in Denmark. It was a great honor to be part of this process from the very beginning when Pam Smilow wanted to approach  the museum. It was my responsibility to produce a material to be presented to the board of directors and pitched to become an exhibit showing a dialogue between Henry Heerup and Gert Mathiesen. The presentation was accepted with great enthusiasm and It was very exciting to work along Anni Lave Nielsen the head of the museum, helping to curate pieces and supervising the logistics of an international operation.

Uma exposição especial do trabalho de Gert aconteceu no Museu Heerup, na Dinamarca. Foi uma grande honra fazer parte desse processo desde o início, quando Pam Smilow quis se aproximar do museu. Era minha responsabilidade produzir um material para ser apresentado ao conselho de administração e lançado para se tornar uma exposição mostrando um diálogo entre Henry Heerup e Gert Mathiesen. A apresentação foi aceita com grande entusiasmo e foi muito emocionante trabalhar com Anni Lave Nielsen, a diretora do museu, ajudando na curadoria de peças e supervisionando a logística de uma operação internacional.
